Thank you for taking the time to learn more about West End Family Counseling Services. Laura Tapia is the Executive Director of WEFCS. With over 18 years of dedicated service to the organization, she has witnessed its growth and impact firsthand. Her journey with West End began as a school-based trainee, and she has held various roles within the organization, including providing school-based services, working in the SART program as a clinician, serving as the EIIS coordinator, and eventually becoming a Program Director and CEO.

Laura holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Throughout her tenure, she has seen the immense value that West End Family Counseling Services brings to the community. It is a pillar of support and healing, and she is committed to upholding the agency's legacy of excellence. Together with the dedicated team, Laura continues to ensure that our community receives the highest quality of care and support.

West End Family Counseling’s Board of Directors consists of volunteers who give their time to provide oversight to the agency’s operations and strategies. All Board Members are current and former leaders experienced in business, non-profit, and government. Most are residents in the cities we serve. Our Board Members bring a broad background and experience to benefit the agency with their leadership.
